Players used adidas Oceaunz during the group stage and knockout stages until the quarter-finals. It featured a white base with bold blue, green and black graphics inspired by the coastlines and landscapes of Australia and New Zealand. adidas Oceaunz Pro came in for the semi-finals and the final match. This version had a gold metallic base.

The adidas Al Rihla and Al Hilm soccer balls — made for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ — are designed to be the fastest and most accurate FIFA World Cup™ balls to date. The design allows the balls to maintain a significantly higher speed in the air. They're made with Speedshell, a textured polyurethane skin, in a 20-piece panel shape that enhances aerodynamics. The bladder inside is made of butyl rubber. The ball also includes an embedded sensor that sends data to officials 500 times per second to track movement and potential goal-line decisions.
