ADIDAS AND RECYCLED POLYESTER

Committed to phasing out the use of virgin polyester entirely over the next years, adidas is using recycled polyester wherever possible. Creating clothes made with recycled materials by recycling existing PET from plastic waste instead of creating new polyester from oil reduces the environmental impact by 20-60%. The process uses less water and energy and fewer chemicals, also reducing the amount of CO2 emissions that end up in our atmosphere. But we intend to do even better. By 2024, we aim to have all of our shoes and clothing made with recycled polyester.
